Supply parts and Information to Service Supervisors and Service Technicians.
Order, receive and store parts.
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, and other stock items and distribute items to technicians.
Prepare parts returns and perform credits for dealers.
Use computer to enter records, add new parts, and generate and submit stock orders.
Manage parts inventory; Maintain necessary records in the parts department.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets and shelves, or convey order to packing station/shipping area.
Package, ship, and receive parts as needed.
Phone and parts counter customer support as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Prefer minimum of two years of engine and/or power gen parts experience.
Able to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.
Excellent customer support skills encompassing the “Customer Support Excellence” philosophy and standards.
Able to use a computer and keyboard to complete work (i.e. parts look up, invoicing, etc.).
Organizational and time management skills.
Able to contribute to system improvement process
Commitment to task and results oriented
Strong commitment to safety
Excellent communication skills (active listening, writing, speaking & telephone)
Able to work through conflict and use effective problem solving techniques
Able to develop & maintain effective working relationships with customers and co-workers
Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Requires ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds often, up to 75 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds on occasion using proper lifting tools/techniques.
Tasks will require bending, stretching, standing, twisting, and climbing up and down equipment throughout the work shift.
Position requires wearing appropriate PPE at all times in work areas.
